Winemaker Notes
A variety of apples were used to make this cider including Gala, Pink Lady, and Granny Smith. The apples were crushed, pressed, and cold fermented in a stainless steel tank. Riesling grapes, which were the primary wine component in this blend, were crushed and left on the skins for 4 hours before a light pressing. After maturation, the dry apple cider and Riesling were blended in tank. A small percentage of Merlot was added to give this blend the lovely pink colour. This Vineyard Cider Rosé was produced in partnership with Lillooet Cider Co.
Food Pairing Notes
This is a perfect pairing with a picnic charcuterie board, or a casual meal by the campfire. It is also a light and refreshing choice to enjoy on its own mid-afternoon after your summer adventures.
